Stacey Forgason is the Communications Manager for MidSouth Electric Co-operative and its subsidiaries.

She grew up in Bedias along MidSouth electric lines, graduated from Madisonville High School, and then Sam Houston State University. After many years in the agriculture industry, and then later metal fabrication, manufacturing and construction along the Gulf Coast, Stacey sold her business with the intention of returning to Huntsville and the place she calls home.

Now utilizing her personal connection to the people within the six counties served by MidSouth, it is Stacey’s job to ensure there is a constant line of open communication between cooperative leadership and the members they serve.

Museum Director since 2021, will provide educational and entertaining updates and stories!

Emily Miller is the Location Leader for the Isaiah 117 House in Montgomery/Walker County. From a young age, Emily has had a heart for people, especially those in need. She strives to see and love people like Christ does.
Emily has had opportunities around the globe to live this out in her daily life, from teaching children in South Carolina to serving and mentoring ladies in Italy to loving her neighbors in Utah.  Now, Emily serves the Isaiah 117 House in Texas by raising awareness about the mission, engaging the community and leading the location’s team to lavishly love children in need well.

Lisa was editor of the Huntsville Item from 1994-1998 and from 2010-2014. Her first professional job was as beat reporter and later city editor for The Item.  

New President and Officers sworn in

Dr. Nesi Lillard is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and the Director of Clinical Training for the Department of Counselor Education at SHSU. She is a native of Huntsville and a graduate of Huntsville High School, Texas A&M University, Texas State University, and Sam Houston State University. At SHSU, she works with graduate students during their practicum and internship experiences and manages the Jack Staggs Counseling Clinics. Nesi also has more than a decade of counseling experience supporting individuals and communities through trauma-informed care, play therapy, group counseling, and LGBTQIA+-affirming services. She worked as a victim services coordinator for many years before becoming a counselor and is passionate about supporting trauma survivors. She lives in Huntsville with her daughter and a crew of rescue animals. 

Dr. Robin N. Montgomery, who graduated from the University of Oklahoma, is a retired professor of political science with five degrees.
He was a Professor at Southwestern Oklahoma State University; Vice President at Oxford Graduate School in Tennessee (in association with the University of Oxford in England); and a Professor in a master’s degree program in international relations for the U.S. Military in Europe, with a GS-13 ranking.  Dr. Montgomery has published 17 books, authored numerous academic articles, and contributed to the Huntsville Item, Conroe Courier, and Navasota Examiner; served on historical organizations in Walker, Montgomery, and Grimes Counties; and hosted events in Tennessee.

Kimberly Weiser is the Executive Director for CASA of Walker, San Jacinto, & Trinity Counties, located in Huntsville, TX.  She graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and graduated from SHSU again in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling.   Kim entered the non-profit sector in 2011, and worked as a victim advocate and community relations director at a local domestic violence agency prior to her current role at CASA. 
Kimberly joined CASA as the director in April 2016, and has grown increasingly passionate toward the cause of advocating for the foster youth of the community. In her decade of service with CASA, she has grown to deeply love and admire the incredible volunteers who serve as CASAs, and finds great joy in serving alongside such a servant-hearted and compassionate group of people.

Debra McCammon is the executive director of the Hospitality House in Huntsville.  She has held this position since November, 2009. Debra holds a BA degree from Howard Payne University in
Religious Education and is a certified chaplain with the state of Texas. She and her family have been supportive of the Hospitality House and it’s ministry since 1989. She is passionate about
helping the hurting families of the incarcerated.  For over 25 years as a pastor's wife, Debra involved herself in various forms of mission work both in Texas and around the world. She has trained hundreds of volunteers, written missions curriculum, led overseas mission teams and coordinated large fundraising and training events.  Her husband of 48 years, Joe, just retired in May 2025 as a special education teacher in Onalaska ISD and, serves as chaplain at the Hospitality House.
