Lisa was editor of the Huntsville Item from 1994-1998 and from 2010-2014. Her first professional job was as beat reporter and later city editor for The Item.
Trow has served as an editor at The Austin American-Statesman and as city editor for Tribune Newspapers in Arizona’s East Valley. She also served in various communications roles in the public and private sectors. These included head of external communications at Chevron Phillips Chemical in The Woodlands and director of marketing and communications for the Texas Economic Development Corporation under Gov. Greg Abbott in Austin. She has a bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University.
